Obituary of Maryse VitaleOur beloved sister and aunt, Maryse Vitale, 78, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015. Maryse was everyone's friend, she loved people. The door to her home was always open to friends and family; if you arrived at her home you would be expected to share a home-cooked delicious meal. Maryse led a colorful life, never afraid to try anything new; she always spoke her mind. She was active in the Armenian community in the area and active in planning events in the building on Saint John Avenue where she lived. She was predeceased by her husband, John; twin sister, Jeanine; parents, Garabed and Satenik Chirinian; sister, Jaqueline; niece, Michelle Kalagian; and nephews, Phillip Kalagian and Brian Reynolds. Maryse is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Harry Kalagian, Binghamton; sister, Claudette Chirinian, Marseilles, France; and nieces and nephews, Jaqueline and David Spencer, Owego, Catherine Reynolds, Binghamton and Christopher and Cindy Garabedian, Marseilles, France. She leaves behind a large extended family.Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Wedensday, June 17, 2015 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Pastor Joe Wickman. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of services. Memorial contributions in Maryse's name may be made to the Armenian Relief Society, 33 Andrea Dr., Apt A, Vestal, NY 13850.
