Obituary of John Felton John Felton, 78, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015, as a result of a fall. He was born in Ariat, Pennsylvania but live in Broome County most of his life. John retired from Giant Markets after more than fifty years of service. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering in the garage. He was active in and president of REACT for many years. John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra, children, Susan and Donald Skinner, Chenango Forks and John P. Felton and Jeanine Woodruff, Binghamton, treasured grandchildren; Eliza and Jeff Moore, Edward Skinner and Lindsey Freidah, Pennie and Greg Merrick, all of Chenango Forks and Brianna Felton, Binghamton, great-grandchildren; Hailey, Gavin, Ava, Elliette and Emerson. He leaves behind sisters-in-law, Jean Lenigan, Dover, Delaware and Katherine Titus, Conklin, several nieces and nephews and his beloved four legged friend, Maisey. A celebration of John’s life will be held 2:00pm, Monday, July 20, 2015 at Ross Memorial Presbyterian Church, 6 Morris Street, Binghamton with the Reverend Michael Krembs officiating.
