Obituary of James Tallo James J. Tallo, 82, passed into eternal rest on Monday, September 7, 2015. Jim was an extremely loving, devoted and proud family man. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. Jim is survived by the love of his life, wife of 60 years, Marlene, daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Ted Storti, Conklin, son and daughter-in-law, James, Jr. and Julie Tallo, Endwell, precious granddaughters; Rachel (Todd) Bates and Renee Storti (Mark) and his little gem, great-granddaughter Gianna Bates. He leaves behind sisters; Sharon Tallo, Karen Queen, Mary Ellen Jirkonsky and Joan DeWick, brothers-in-law; Jerry House and Alfred Carlson, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Esther Tallo, in-laws, Roger and Agnes Hurst, sisters-in-law, Marilyn House and Patricia Carlson, brother-in-law, Larry Jirkonsky and nephew, David Queen. Jim was employed by Loblaws, UFCW and Triumph Markets. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Funeral services will be held 7:00pm, with the Reverend Robert Peak officiating. Interment will be private in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
