Obituary of Barbara WhitakerOur beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Barbara Whitaker, 91, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She devoted her life to taking care of her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Charlotte Tuttle, grandson, Timothy Kaim. Barbara is survived by her husband of 70 years, Paul, son, Mark and Katherine Whitaker, treasured grandchildren; Amber Whitaker, Wyatt Whitaker, Daisy Kaim and great-grandson Izaiah Whitaker. She leaves behind special friends Lynne and Anne Lombardo. Barbara was a secretary at Redeemer Lutheran Church for forty years and was assistant to the principal at Calvin Coolidge Elementary for many years. Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Entombment will follow services in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
