Aleen "Lee" Menta

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Aleen “Lee” Menta passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015. Aleen’s generous spirit made sure her family was kept warm with the sweaters, afghans and stockings that were knitted for all. Each of her family members had their favorite pies or cakes baked with love for their birthdays. Aleen was the bright spot in the Log Cabin Restaurant because she made the best pies, pastry and soup in the county. She will be sorely missed by those who attended the Knights of Columbus Thursday Bingo games. She was predeceased by her husband, Steven G. Menta and her son, Dennis Menta. Aleen is survived by her children, Pamela A. DeMarco, Binghamton and Robert and Debbie Menta, Windsor, treasured grandchildren, Jennifer Menta, Stephen and Amber Menta, Jon-Mark and Jenifer Menta, Matthew DeMarco and Kevin DeMarco; great-grandchildren; Jaryd, Samuel, Leah, Jeremiah, Sethe, Caleb, Judah, Simeon, Josiah and Joy. Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Kevin Rollo officiating.
