John Byce

Much loved father, John T. Byce, 63, passed away December 12, 2014 with his family by his side. John went to kneel before his Lord and Savior, as he welcomed him to share the joy of everlasting life. He conquered a long battle with cancer and is now at peace. John was born August 16, 1951 in Binghamton. He graduated from Susquehanna Valley High School and attended Broome Community College. John is survived by children; Ryan and Desirée Byce and Michael Byce all of Binghamton. He leaves behind his brothers in firefighting of the Town of Binghamton, several family members and many friends. John’s family would like to thank Russ Cole, Kenna Lou Mills and Bob and Nancy Byce for all their loving care and support. Memorial services will be held 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at First Assembly of God Binghamton, 255 Washington Street, Binghamton with Pastor Lance Perry officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the time of services. Memorial contributions in John’s name may be made to the Town of Binghamton Fire Department, PO Box 154, Binghamton, NY 13903.
