Richard Prentice, 66, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Irene Prentice, brothers, Edwin and Charles Prentice and sister, Jean Brandow. Richard is survived by his daughter, Tamalee Prentice, Phoenix, Arizona, granddaughter, Zoe Brown and sister and brother-in-law, Wendy and Thomas Zaic, Corbettsville and many close friends.
Richard served his country proudly in the United States Army, retiring after 30 years as Sgt. First Class. He was a free spirit and touched many lives on his life’s journey. Upon his retirement he settled in Colorado and recently returned to his home town to spend his remaining days with his family.
Memorial services will be held 5:00 pm, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Nancy Roberts officiating.
