Gregg A. Lawrence

August 17, 1950 — February 7, 2013

Gregg Lawrence, 62, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home of natural causes on February 7.  He was predeceased by his parents Merton G. and Anne S. of Binghamton. Gregg is survived by his brother James of Shelburne, Vermont; cousins: Joyce Brown, Kathleen Thuma, Carol Powers, Nancy Percik, David Brown and “designated cousin” and loyal friend Geoff Powers. Gregg was a graduate of Binghamton North High School and the University of Buffalo. After a period of teaching, he worked in the printing industry in the Syracuse area. Gregg is remembered as kind, big-hearted and generous for becoming the primary caregiver for his mother during her final years. Gregg attended the Henderson United Church near Big Gull Lake in Arden, Ontario, Canada, where he spent many summers cottaging, fishing, and becoming involved in local community affairs in the towns of Arden, Henderson, and Northbrook.
