Stuart Morgan Holmes

     Stuart M. Holmes, 91, left us on Sunday, December 16, 2012 to be reunited with his loved ones who predeceased him who include his son-in-law, Warren Bush. He was a perfect example of what God intended Man should be. Stu is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Barbara, children, Barbara Bush, Owego, Gary and Bonnie Holmes, Endwell, Curtis and Lorraine Holmes, Apalachin, Jon and Barbara Kocak, Denver, Co., Peri and Bill Taylor, Arlington, Tx., Shawn O’Connor, Valley Cottage, NY and Sherri and Ronald Fox, Denver, Co. He leaves behind 20 treasured grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.      He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp, serving his country in World War II. Stu was an auditor for Grand Union for 55 years and upon his retirement he worked at the Broome County Arena for the next 20 years.      Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton.
