Sharon Pratt Overby Miranowski

     Sharon Overby Pratt Miranowski passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 after a long courageous battle with many health issues. She was a loving and caring person who was strong and gave her all, even though she was sometimes misunderstood. She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara N. Pratt. Sharon is survived by her husband John, daughter, Christie Karis and Gary Greenhaw, Columbus, Oh., beloved granddaughter, Cassie Greenhaw who was the joy of her life, father, Theodore G. Pratt, Binghamton, brothers and sisters, Nancy and Douglas O’Dell, Binghamton, Gloria and William Donson, Binghamton, Ted and Mary Ann Pratt, Nineveh and Charles and Cathy Pratt, Endicott. She leaves behind her mother-in-law, confidant and friend, Dorothy Miranowski, Endicott and many nieces, nephews and beloved four legged children, Bronx and Sunni.      Many in the tri-city area will remember Sharon as their favorite waitress from the many restaurants she worked at throughout her life. She was the person who loved to dance for no reason at all.  Sharon wishes to thank all those in healthcare who loved and helped her during her long illness.     Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, Decemeber 5, 2012 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Pastor Jerry Terry officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until the time of services.
