Diane Sliwinski

Our beloved wife and mother, Diane Sliwinski, 68, passed away, Sunday, October 21, 2012. She was a graduate of Syracuse University and Binghamton University. Diane retired from SUNY Binghamton after many years with the International Student and Scholar Services. She was a longtime member of Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, the Broome County Democratic Party and the Binghamton Garden Club. Diane is survived by her husband, David, children, Stephen and Amy Smyk, Vestal, Rebecca and Chris Balchikonis, Binghamton and Lauren Sliwinski, Astoria, NY. She leaves behind treasured grandchildren, Christopher Balchikonis, Kara Smyk, Cecilia Balchikonis and Hannah Smyk.Diane’s family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton.
