Ruth Mae Johnson

Ruth Mae Johnson passed away peacefully Monday, September 10, 2012.  Having lived to age 93, Ruth touched many lives for she was a loving, giving woman that was filled with warmth and compassion to anyone’s plights, hardships or heartaches. She was predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 68 years, Robert, brothers, William and John Fletcher.  Ruth is survived by her children, Kermit and Daris Johnson, Hawaii, David Johnson, Rainbow Lake, NY and Marjorie Johnson, Vestal, 5 treasured grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and great great- granddaughter. She leaves behind sisters, Alice Thomas, Windsor, Noralie and John Katsu, Mount Airy, Md. And Marjorie Meve, West Palm Beach, Fla. The celebration of Ruth’s life will be private.
