Doris Lewis Lundy of Binghamton    Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Doris Lewis Lundy, 89, was reunited with her loved ones in heaven, Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Doris was devoted to her four sons who will remember her as being instrumental in their development into the men they are today. She enjoyed her morning paper, the New York Yankees and Giants games and sitting on the porch by the lake. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, grandson, David Lewis, parents Merton and Madeline Heath, brothers, Francis and William Heath and sister-in-law, Mary Heath. Doris is survived by her sons; James and Waynette Lewis, Reno, Nev., Rollin and Evie Lewis, Johnson City, David Lewis and Bobbie Burnett, Binghamton and Dann Lewis and Diane Walker, Phoenix, Ariz., treasured grandchildren; Eva Marie, Elizabeth, Mark, Jim and Derek Lewis and 3 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind sister-in-law, Elma Heath, Johnson City, nieces and nephew, Sherry, Kathy, Sherry, Francis and Karen and special friend, Tudy Pixley, Binghamton.     Doris was a longtime member of Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church.  She was lifetime member of the PTA in Albany, past Matron, Otsiningo Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Past Royal Matron, Queen May Court #106, Order of the Amaranth, Past Mighty Chosen One, Ahmes Cauldron, Past Worthy High Priestess, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Past Queen of Zuleika Temple #9, Daughters of the Nile.  She was also Past Councilor, both New York State and National Council of the Daughters of America.     Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Pastor Eileen Sloth officiating. Interment will follow services in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.  Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, Friday, August, 24, 2012 with Eastern Star services at 6:30 pm and again Saturday morning from 9:00 until 10:00 am.
