Jeanne Wightman Beauter of Vestal Jeanne Wightman Beauter, 87, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012. She was predeceased by her first husband, Maurice Wightman and grandson, Mark Wightman. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Lawrence Beauter; children; Mel and Sandy Wightman, Chenango Forks, Maurie and Vera Wightman, Syracuse, Shirley Dahl, Tiberon, Ca. and Nancy and Jim Riley, Apalachin, grandchildren; Matt and Laurie Wightman, Windsor, Sara and Mike Kumiega, Chenango Bridge, Christine and Chris McAllister, Washington State, Chad and Jennifer Seiler, Oregon, Jeramie and Shari Bell, Endicott, Mary Elizabeth Wightman, Lake Placid. She leaves behind 8 great grandchildren, her extended family; Karen and Peter Meister and their son, Andrew, Lake Placid, John and Kandy Beauter, their daughter, Courtney, Binghamton, Stephen and Sarah Beauter and daughter, Tricia, Gainesville, Mo., Sandy and Jim Beardsley, sons Paul and Peter, Dunedin, Fla. and special friends, Donna and Sherwood Enck. She was a 65 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Windsor Chapter #190, Daughters of the Nile; Windsor Grange and various other community organizations. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 3505 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal with the Reverends Eric Jensen and Jose Valencia co-officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of services. Eastern Star services will be at 11:00 am. Interment will be 11:00 am, Wednesday. April 4, 2012 in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga.
