Francis James Dury

Francis James Dury of Binghamton Francis James Dury, 82, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012. He was a loving man and always put his family first even during hard times. Fran was a veteran of the United States Army serving his country during the Korean War. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Carmelita Dury and brother, Ronald Dury. Fran is survived by his beloved partner of 40 years, Carol Macumber;  children, Wendy Dury-Samson and husband, Daniel of Delmar, NY and Blair Dury, Endicott and treasured granddaughter, Nora Samson. He leaves behind brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Mary Lou Dury, Deltona, FL, sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Edward Baetz, Monroe, NC and several nephews. Funeral services will be held 6:00 pm Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until the time of services. Interment services will be private in the Rural Cemetery of Hornellsville.
