Robert George Thornton

Robert G. Thornton, 97, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Audrey, siblings, Lillian Rockwell, Louise Brown, Anna Chamberlain and Henry Thornton and nephew, Russell Thornton. Robert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Tim O’Neill, Binghamton and close friend, Lori Turk, Binghamton and a large extended family. Robert retired from Robin-Tech, Vestal. He was a longtime member of the band, Thornton and Black and he was an avid musician, composer, trombone player and golfer. Funeral services will be private.
