Patricia Belloni

Patricia Belloni, 48, died on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Binghamton General Hospital. Patty moved to Binghamton from Queens in 1996 to live at Broome Developmental Center. In spite of the many difficulties her health created, Patty embraced life and everyone who knew her was always amazed by her shining spirit. She particularly loved music, John Travolta and Grease. She never met a walkman, cd player or piece of audio equipment she didn’t like. Patty could almost always be seen with a set of headphones on and the volume turned up high. Christmas and her birthday were her favorite times and she always reminded people when they were coming up. Over the years, many staff at BDC came to know, support and love Patty. In recent years, Patty was especially close to Denise and Pat B. She had a close circle of friends, including Michele, Laura, Mary Ellen, Penny, Felice, John and Sue, Cheryl and her “body Guard” Kathy, who will dearly miss Patty and the chance to mark life’s moments with her. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Michael Shank officiating. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to services.
