Raymond P. Johns

Raymond P. Johns of Chenango Forks   Raymond P. Johns, age 75, passed away Tuesday, January 03, 2012 after a long illness. He was a real outdoorsman and loved his many hunting trips. Ray is survived by his wife of 49 years, Agnes; daughter, Judy, son, Daren and daughter-in-law, Lisa. He also leaves behind, sister, Edna Hotaling and many nieces and nephews. Ray retired from Shumaker Engineers after 30 years of service. He was a volunteer fireman for 38 years at Hillcrest and Chenango Forks. Funeral services will be held 5:30 pm, Friday, January 6 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Michael Shank officiating. Family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until the time of services. Memorial contributions in Ray's name may be made to Project Paw, 127 Bevier Street, Binghamton, NY 13904.
