Josephine "Josie" Starks Parker

Josephine “Josie” Starks Parker of Binghamton   Josephine “Josie” Starks Parker, 94, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from her home surrounded by her loving family. Josie was an avid bingo player. She loved to sing, dance and shake her tambourine and was active in several senior groups. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Starks and sons, Robert Starks and Raymond Starks. Josie is survived by her children; Shirley and Donald Hunt, Kirkwood, Richard and Janet Starks, Binghamton, David and Donna Starks, Binghamton, Gloria Singer, Binghamton, Gene and Cathy Starks, Binghamton and Joanne Smith, Binghamton. She leaves behind many treasured grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Funeral  services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, October 10, 2011 at Fisher-Scholder Funeral Home, 269 Chenango Street, Binghamton. Interment will follow services in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, Sunday, October 9th at the funeral home.
