Walter Preston “Bucky” Bonsell, Jr. of Town of Binghamton Walter Preston “Bucky” Bonsell, Jr., 78, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him, neighbors, coworkers, bowling buddies, fellow hunters and fisherman. Bucky is survived by his loving wife of 57 year, June, he is the father of eight children, Allen, Becky, Walter III, Billy, Holley, Debbie, Daisy and Wayne; 27 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. He leaves behind, sister, Carol Swan and brothers; John, Eddie and Charles Bonsell. Bucky volunteered to serve his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Local 7 AFL-CIO. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Interment will follow services in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, Friday, June 10th.
