Richard D. Hogan

Richard Hogan of Binghamton   Richard D. Hogan, 78, died Friday, June 3, 2011. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; children; Martha Hogan-Battisti,  Swedsboro, NJ, Susan Hogan, Walnut Creek, Ca., Joel Shattan, Yukon, Okla., Mark Shattan, New Cannan, Conn. and Michael Shattan, West Point, NY. He leaves behind ten treasured grandchildren, brothers; Eugene Hogan, Gauley’s Bridge, W.V . and Edward Hogan, Rasomville, NY. Richard was born in Niagara Falls, NY.  He served his country during the Korean War in the United Stated Marine Corps. Richard retired from the Boy Scouts of America after many years of service and was an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Binghamton.
