Connie Morrissey

Connie Morrissey of Binghamton  A treasured Mom, daughter, sister and aunt, Connie Morrissey, 44, passed away suddenly from an undiagnosed heart problem, Friday, May 27, 2011. Connie was a person who would reach out to help many others. She will always be remembered as fun loving and a good friend. She was predeceased by her father, Thomas J. Morrissey; both maternal and paternal grandparents; special aunts, Peg Bombaski and Theresa Morrissey. Connie is survived by her loving daughters, Camille Lynn and Morgan Marie Morrissey; mother, Faith Marilyn Morrissey, Binghamton; siblings, Laura (David) Blockburger, Arlington, VT, Linda (Bryan) Bazewick, Binghamton, Lilah (Frank) Barbera, Binghamton and John Morrissey, Binghamton. She leaves behind her significant other, Rick Clarkson, Binghamton; uncle, Denny and Joyce Morrissey, Newark Valley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Connie worked for many years in Wilson and Lourdes Hospitals and recently at the Sheltered Workshop. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Family will received friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services.
