James "Pop Pop" Mcconnell

James “Pop Pop” McConnell of Binghamton  Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, James McConnell, 75, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011. Jim was an avid NY Mets fan and was a frequent Sunday morning visitor to the Jimay's Flea Market in Conklin. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, DiAnn; children, James K. and Nancy McConnell, Conklin, Joy-Marie and Bill Farley, Kirkwood, Randy S. McConnell, Binghamton, and April McConnell, Binghamton; treasured grandchildren, Keegan and Keller Farley, McCennzy McConnell and Charlie Pangburn. Jim was retired from IBM and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton.
