Eleanor Lou Constable of Binghamton Our beloved wife and mother, Eleanor Lou Constable passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Eleanor was a loving daughter, wife and mother. She was a kind and giving soul who always put others before herself. She was predeceased by her parents, Lewis and Orah Darrow, brothers; Ives and Arthur Darrow. Eleanor is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert, her children; John Robert Constable, Bowie, Md., Joanne and Ken Thrasher, Greene, Steven and Maureen Constable, Hyde Park, NY and Barbara Jean Constable, Binghamton, treasured grandchildren; Andrea, John, Jeffrey and Allison Constable, Emma and Chrissy Thrasher, Megan Schlipmann and Riley Constable. She was a longtime member of Ross Memorial Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin  Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Ronald B. Thomas officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, Friday, May 27th and again from 10:00 until 11:00 am, Saturday, May 28th.
