Dr. Milton J. Braslow, 88, of Pembroke Pines Florida died Friday, April 29, 2011, after a lengthy illness. He will always be remembered by his family and those who knew him as a very learned, sensitive and humorous person who loved all people and was charitable in his efforts to help humanity. His family cherishes him as a loving and devoted husband, brother, father and grandfather.
Dr. Braslow is survived by his wife, Maxine Potchinsky Braslow, his sisters and brother-in-law; Ruth Braslow and Sylvia and Ben Dombeck, stepchildren; Randi Robbins, and her children, David and Danielle; Craig and Dorie Potchinsky and their children, Sarah, Caitlin and Nathan; Merle Potchinsky, husband Jeremy Schwartz and their daughter, Arielle; Zachary and Tove Potchinsky and their children, Aubryn and Levi; Stuart and Cheryl Potchinsky, and their children, Cole and Lois, William Soffer, his children, Gabrial and Debra; Diane Soffer-Federman and Charles Federman and their children, Michael Federman, Lori and Peter Kalvert and their son, Madrone, and Harry and Marilyn Soffer and their children, Gary, Lee, Jordan, Deena and Rachel.
Dr. Braslow served in the United States Army both during World War II and as 1st Lieutenant during the Korean War. He had a dental practice in Kirkwood from 1972 until his retirement in 1990, and worked with his deceased wife, Eva. Dr. Braslow was an active member and board member of Beth David Synagogue for many years and was also a member of the Masonic Fraternity. He was an avid photographer and loved taking photos on his numerous trips abroad. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 Beth David Cemetery, Conklin Road, Conklin (Temple Israel Riverside Cemetery) In the event of rain services will be held at Beth David Synagogue, 39 Riverside Drive, Binghamton.
