Anita Satrell

              Anita Sartell       of Town of BinghamtonOur beloved wife and mother, Anita Sartell, 87, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011. She was a gentle spirit and true earth angel who showed immeasurable kindness to all. Anita is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Clinton; her children, Jean and Gerald Bayne, Brackney, PA, Maxine and Peter Scarantino, Binghamton and Joyce Sartell, Binghamton; treasured grandchildren, Rachel and Sami Bourizk, Rebecca and Tom Blazejowski and Michael Scarantino; great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Melissa, Allison and Sara. The family wishes to express thanks and gratitude to her friends and caregivers, the Cline family, Sue and Julie. Anita was a school bus driver for the Susquehanna Valley School District for 23 years. She was a member of the Hawleyton United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, at the Hawleyton United Methodist Church, 901 Hawleyton Road, Binghamton with the Reverend William Puckey officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow services in Ararat Cemetery, Thompson, PA.
