Theodore A. Knapp

September 4, 1923 — March 27, 2011

Theodore A. Knapp of Hallstead, Pennsylvania    Our beloved uncle, Theodore A. Knapp, 87, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, March 27, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Grace Knapp, brothers, Clarence and Herbert and his loving sister, Audrey Yeomans who along with her devoted family were Ted’s primary caretakers for the past 32 years.  Ted is survived by his nieces and nephews. Ted was a veteran of the US Navy serving his country during World War II. He was an insatiable reader; he loved farming, animals and most of all his family. He viewed all of what he loved sitting on his front porch. From there, he taught all those beloved nieces and nephews math, bicycle riding, tying shoelaces and so much about what it means to be a member of a loving family. Funeral services will be held, 11:00 am, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Conklin Forks United Methodist, Brady Hill Road, Conklin Forks with the Reverend William Puckey officiating. Interment will follow services in Birchardville Cemetery, Birchardville, Pennsylvania. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of services. Memorial contributions in Ted’s name may be made to the Birchardville Cemetery Association, c/o Small, 41 Stone Street, Birchardville, PA 18801. To forward condolences please visit www.demunnfh.com. Arrangements for the family are directed by DeMunn Funeral Home.
