Beverly Elaine Franks

Beverly Elaine Franks of Binghamton   Beverly Elaine Franks, 87, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 28, 2011. She was predeceased by her parents, John Franks in 1942 and mother, Beulah Franks in 1977. Beverly is survived by her cousins; Jay and Wendy Schum, Eric and Irina Schum, Gary and Donna Schum and numerous cousins in Pennsylvania. She leaves behind several close friends, Betty Riker, Jon Deakin and Celeste Sheridan. Beverly graduated from Binghamton North High School in 1941. She worked for Equitable Life Insurance Society for eighteen years and retired from the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training in 1984 after twenty four years of service. The family wishes to thank Dianne, Clare, Celeste and Lourdes Hospice for all their wonderful care and to those neighbors who were so very helpful to Beverly for many years.
