                                                   Betty Francis                                                   of BinghamtonBetty Francis, 84, passed away after a long illness on March 26th, 2011 at Pembrooke Nursing Home in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She was the beloved daughter of the late Walter and Leora Francis and the devoted and loving mother of the late Stanley Francis. Betty is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Lou Schmehl, Darby, PA.; daughter-in-law, Debra and grandson Kirk, both of Binghamton, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm, Wednesday, March 30th, 2011 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend C. James Jones officiating. Interment will follow services in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of services.
