Marilyn "Zekie" Engard

November 19, 1930 — March 8, 2011

Marilyn “Zekie” Engard of Town of Binghamton   Marilyn “Zekie” Engard, 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 08, 2011. She is predeceased by her wonderful parents, Harry and Florence Engard and brother, Harold. Marilyn is survived by her nieces and nephew; Susie Engard, Half Moon Bay, Ca., Doug and Mabel Engard, Port Crane, Linda and Gilbert  Trayling, Binghamton, Jill and Robert Zimmerman, Endwell and sister-in-law, Grace Engard, Binghamton. She leaves behind her great- nieces and nephews, Jenny Engard, Heather Carr, Naomi Engard, Brittany and Matthew Trayling, Alex and Kelsey Zimmerman and her faithful companion, Minnie, cousins in Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Colorado and many friends on the “hill”. Marilyn was a longtime employee of several wholesale grocery houses and retired respectfully from Amrex Chemical Company. She was lucky to have wonderful employers throughout her career. Marilyn was an avid Girl Scout activist and loved golfing and camping. She will be laid to rest alongside her parents, aunts and uncles in Pine Grove Cemetery, South Sterling, Pa.  Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions in Marilyn’s name may be made to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson Street, Binghamton, NY 13903.  Marilyn’s final request was that she wishes that everyone be kind to their friends and neighbors.  To forward condolences please visit www.demunnfh.com.
