Denise L. Rosenkrans

Denise L. Rosenkrans of Port Crane Our beloved mother and sister, Denise L. Rosenkrans, 50, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011. Denise always put the needs of others before her own. Above all she loved her children and always did everything for them. She will be missed greatly and will always be remembered for being a loving person and mother. She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Lois Brown. Denise is survived by her loving children; Jeffrey Rosenkrans and Amanda Rosenkrans both of Port Crane, stepdaughter, Jamie and Tracy Houghton, Owego and their father, Jeff Rosenkrans, Brackney, Pa., brothers and sisters-in-law; David Brown, his children Molly, Myles and Jordan, Binghamton, Donald and Marsha Brown, their children K.C., Michael, Jonathan and Steven, Heidelberg, Germany and, Dennis and Debi Brown, their children, Caitlin, Nathaniel, Matthew and Victoria, Windsor,. She also leaves behind mother-in-law, Carolyn Houck, aunts; Maxine Fox (Mickey), Kingsley, Pa., Jean and Ron Davis, Johnson City, uncle and aunt, Donald and Pat Brown, Endwell, aunts; Felicia Kinney, Hop Bottom, Pa., Helen Kinney, Syracuse and special friends, Laura Terry, Endicott, Coleen Brown, Endwell, Elizabeth Rogler, Endwell, Nan Schiller, Mike Andrews, and Doug Schiller, all of Port Crane and many cousins. Denise spent the last six years taking care of her mother, Lois J. Brown who died in October 2010 and her-mother-in law, Carolyn Houck, Binghamton. She was a senior examiner for the Broome County Department of Social Services for 28 years. She enjoyed the company of her coworkers and touched many lives during those years. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, 44 Main Street, Binghamton with the Reverend Paul C. Donnecker officiating. Family will receive friends at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton Friday, February 11, 2011 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm.
