Rhoda Angell Wolf

Rhoda Angell Wolf, 91, born in South Otselic, NY passed away January19th, 2011, with her son, Ted Wolf and Pastor Lea Harding at her side. Rhoda resided at Hilltop for the past 7 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles and her son, Bill. She is survived by her daughter, Angela (Nick) Masters and son, Ted (Judy) Wolf, daughter-in-law, Karen Wolf, four grandchildren, Kara and Amy Masters, Allen (Stacey) Wolf and Heather (Bob) Blum; four great-grandchildren, Austin and Emma Wolf, Taylor and Ethan Blum. Rhoda was a music teacher in the Binghamton schools and an active member at Ross Memorial Church where she praised the Lord with her beautiful voice. She was an avid quilter, and made quilts for her children and grandchildren. One of her biggest passions was corresponding by mail with hundreds of people who were touched by her cards and letters. She loved to hug and be hugged. Rhoda believed one should "Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly, and Leave the rest to God". Donations in her memory may be made to the United Methodist Pastoral Care Fund, 10 Acre Place, Binghamton N.Y. 13904. A memorial service is planned and will be announced at a later date.
