Flora B. Cosler
of Binghamton
Flora B. Cosler passed away on January 17th, 2011 at her home. She is predeceased by her husband, Clifford G. Cosler; her parents, Carlton and Fannie Tanner; three sisters, Dorothy, Frances, Betty; one brother, Vern; and grandson, Kevin Munley and her special companion, Bandit.
She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Richard and Carol Powell, Walter and Beverly Bacher, and Edward and Coralee Munley. She is survived by 10 grandchildren: Jeffery & Mary (Powell)Weyant, Mark Powell, Luke and Amy (Powell)Tarbox, Daniel and Wendy Bacher, Kevin and Susan(Bacher)Laubach, Joe and Jennifer(Bacher)Uholik, Jonathon and Mary Jo Munley, Ryan Munley, Timothy and Danielle Munley, and Keith and Colleen Munley.
She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren: Corey, Mackenzie, Nathan, Cameron, Ashley, Kasey, Jamie, Kevie, Leah, Jayden, Brooke, Katie, Kirstin, Cassidy and Madison. Also surviving Flora is her sister, Esther Marshall; brother-in-law, Gordon Cosler; niece Frances and Cliff Link, special friends, Doug Weyant and Denny VanValkenburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flora spent her life taking care of her beloved husband and family. She enjoyed reading romance novels, drinking Stewart’s Root Beer out of a bottle, and embroidering pillowcases. She was most proud of her 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and all that they have accomplished.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Rebecca Tanner officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:30 am until the time of services. Interment will follow services in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
